This vacuum media filter has a self-cleaning vacuum box that is sized to maintain minimum chip transport velocities for a sweeping action.
Features include:
- Perforated plate is removable for vacuum box inspection
- Vacuum seal completely isolates the vacuum box during index ensuring a “positive vacuum break” eliminating the possibility of “media billowing”
- Media entry seal is an inclined backplate that allows the chain and flight assembly to seal the media against the back wall of the filter eliminating chip by-pass
- Low profile design allows elimination of pump backs, machine tool drains directly into tank
