Historically, the Barnes product line – Magnetic Separators and Fabric Filters – have been recommended and used on grinding and finishing machines such as honing and some lapping machines. The first of these is the standard Barnes Magnetic Separator.
The MCS magnetic separator line ranges in flow rate capacities from 20 GPM to 250 GPM with water based coolants. First introduced during WWII, our magnetic separators offer low cost and low floor space requirements, along with ease of installation. Although limited to ferrous applications they offer a lot of filtration for the money and provide a quick return on investment.
